Course Overview
The Dive Horizons Dry Suit Specialty, utilizing the PADI curriculum, is all about making students comfortable using the suit. While students will cover the background knowledge related to dry suit diving, most of the time is spent in the water learning the techniques specific to diving dry.
Skills will be introduced in confined water, and put to practice in two open water dives, either at Dutch Springs or on one of our Jersey trips.
In addition to teaching the skills needed to enjoy diving dry, we will also introduce the different types of drysuits and their applications, and care and maintenance of drysuits. Students enrolled in our course receive deep discounts when purchasing suits.
